For work that is not on the fixed-price list. £36 an hour inc. VAT for home users, £60 + VAT for business. £5 to book any appointment, which comes off your bill, and no charge at all if we can't fix it.

Our rate for help at home, charged for the time we actually spend. The price you see is the price you pay. Includes the no fix, no fee promise.

For business support, where the work is commercial and the cost of downtime is higher. Still below most local providers — and lower again on a support plan.

£5to book · inc. VAT

£5 to book any appointment. It's there to make sure a booking is real, it comes off your bill, and it's refunded if we can't fix the problem.

About VAT

IT Solution Architecture Limited is VAT registered. Home prices include VAT — what you see is what you pay, with nothing added at the end. Business prices exclude VAT, which is the usual convention and lets VAT-registered businesses reclaim it. Every invoice shows the VAT separately.

Many jobs have a fixed price

If what you need is on our fixed-price list, you pay that price rather than by the hour — so you know the cost before we start. The rates on this page are for anything not on that list.

What that means in practice

  • You pay £5 to book an appointment at a time that suits you. It's there to make sure a booking is real.
  • We arrive, diagnose the problem and tell you what is wrong.
  • Before we go any further, you know what it will cost.
  • The £5 comes off your bill — so an hour's work is £36 in total, not £41.
  • If we cannot fix the problem, the £5 is refunded in full.

Things worth knowing

  • Travel within our service area is included in the price, and the £5 booking fee comes off your bill.
  • Parts and hardware are quoted separately, and always agreed with you first.
  • We will tell you honestly if a repair is not worth the money.
  • Business work can be quoted as a fixed price for a project — just ask.

If you would rather have ongoing cover than pay by the hour, our support plans start at £15 a month for home users and £35 per user a month for businesses.
